Even if I am not American and living oversea, I am feeling particularly close to the L.A. community and people. Maybe it is because of my childhood music influences. We have been living the “American dream” in our teenage years through music and movies.

Anyway, straight to the point, I am feeling closer to these people who lost everything and the pain. My family has been through a lot of pain during these last years and we are still paying the price. No matter the reason of this pain. Pain is Pain, right?

Anyway again, I visited there years ago. I still have sweet memories of that time. The welcoming people made me feel like home.

And nowadays I am also living with music thanks to people who trusted my work, right there in L.A.

I’ve been just watching on YouTube the FireAid LA Benefit Concert and I’ve been completely blown away.

Blown away by the powerful and positive energy, the courage and pride of people there. The energy was coming through even just on YouTube. I can’t imagine the feeling for those who were in the Kia Forum and all the artists on stage.

I live in Italy. Our country has been through a lot in the past years. The sense of community is as strong even here when it’s time to help each other. That sense of community does pretty much better and faster than government. At least here…

Talking about the concert, I’ve been seriously blown away about how quickly and amazingly everything has been organized and done. Just WOW

I am pretty sure in Italy we would still be dealing with the bureaucracy and permissions to organize the event.

And here we go, just a few days after the disaster started. One of the greatest events I’ve ever seen so far was completed. A full forum, with an insane amount of top artists performing live. And let me tell, they performed AMAZINGLY. Holy SSSS!!!!

All right, some minor technical issues, but what we are talking about? I guess somebody had some ear monitoring latency that didn’t help, but really, that’s details. What really matter on stage is spreading the emotions and the energy, and that’s what really happened. At least to me.

I am thinking about Green Day opening the show, Grohl with her daughter singing, Sting, Pink! OMG such an artist, such a voice…

But really everyone on stage made it.

I can’t even believe the organization. The mixing engineers, the security, the backstage work, the whole stuff amaze me. All the guys doing the job to make it happen are incredible. Still having goosebumps. Like, for real.

And what about all the firefighters heroes!?

Last but not least, at the moment I am writing, there’s already 1.601.858 views… and you’ll read all the possible way to help and make a donation. Can you imagine just a dollar par view?

I am nobody famous. I am just a drop in the Ocean. I am just a “behind the scene” guy doing his work in the music industry. And even if just one person reading this will make just one very small donation, this post was worthy done.

If you haven’t already watched (but most likely you did before than me), here’s the concert.

Rock On \m/
